Writer-Director, born in Harbin, China, now based in New York.

After finishing his BA in UC Davis, he had spent years working in Beijing for film curating and film distribution. He then studied and worked in New York to pursue his passion of storytelling. His previous film On Fumes was selected for numerous Oscar Qualifying Film Festivals.

Zhengyi currently resides in Hong Kong. His next short film Playroom is currently underdevelopment.
